The Art of the Pitch (1-day workshop)

In today's market, having great ideas is only half the battle. Being able to sell them is the true secret to success. This interactive one-day session is a ‘how to’ of pitching. It addresses the unique challenges faced by Creative and Account Team members in pitch and presentation scenarios, with the goal of helping participants become confident, self-aware, and ultimately highly effective idea sellers.

Whenever we share an idea with a client, it's a pitch, regardless of our role or the reason why the idea has been developed. And those who pitch best - win.
Learn to recognize and build on your personal pitching style, the five rules of pitching, teamwork approaches, body language skills, dealing with conflict, protecting concept integrity, and more. The workshop format will use relevant examples, show recommended techniques, and each participant will also receive one-on-one body dynamics training within the group environment.
Workshop content includes:

This course is designed for anyone in the agency world, Creative, Account, and New Business alike, who have opportunities to pitch or present ideas to clients. Based on the idea that any opportunity to sell or predispose an audience to an idea is actually a pitch, this course will help prepare, enlighten and empower participants to be dynamic and compelling idea sellers.
About your workshop leader:
Leslie Ehm leads the workshop. From TV concepts in the UK to advertising creative in Canada as Group Creative Director at MacLaren McCann, Leslie has been pitching ideas for over 20 years. She is considered a ‘tour de force’ in the pitching realm with agencies and clients alike regularly hiring her to develop and sell-in creative on their behalf.
